A classic of the Peruvian drinks. Its history comes back to 1920, in Puno, where de captains of the army after doing their rounds at night, asked in the canteen their preferred combination: Vermouth and Pisco. The generals asked for this drink, which they called “Captain”. With the pass of the years, the recipe cross the cordillera de Los Andes until the capital. Such has been its evolution that now it is not drink if it is not in a Martini glass.

  • 1 ½ ounce of Pisco La Torre
  • 1 ounce of Vermouth
  • 4 o 5 ice cubes
  • 8 drops of angostura bitter


In a cocktail shaker pour all the ingredients, stir the preparation for 10 seconds and serve in a Martini glass. If you wish you can decorate the glass with a lemon slice.
